playing God

So I have been sick at home the past 2 days pretending to work. shh.. and I saw this Japanese flash game called "growth game". Basically you have to determine which technology to put down in which order so that they grow each other into the ultimate human/environment paradise. AFter of 2 hours of hard effort (it is strangely addicting) I was finally able to achieve the ultimate paradise result. It is quite satisfying to tame a wild volcanic island into a metropolis AND remain environementally friendly.

The Growth Game

Wow, that was actually a pretty nifty game...so what is the "best" solution? Does it feature every single animation possible, or is it only a subset?

Interesting game. I still have not yet figured out how to level my Applied Chemistry. :(

Yeah, the APplied Chemistry was really difficult for me. Cause if you put it out too early, it breaks during the earthquake.

Yes, when you level every discipline to the max, you will get all the animations plus some extra goodies. I was quite surprised when I saw some stuff without expecting it.

Did you record the correct sequence so that you can share it with the rest of us? :)

Sigh, I managed to collect all 3 bottles and max out applied chemistry.... but my house/civil was stuck at lvl 1. ARGH.

Not that hard, certain ones were easy to place, like the screw had to be first, and the roads were important to get all the various later upgrades. Also, chem had to be last, because of the earthquake. You can also tell that housing has to be fairly early, otherwise you will never get the freaking airship treehouse. Kinda weird you end up making a god machine though in the end.

I had trouble placing when to use electricity and the computer, but after enough tries, I got it. The one weird thing was how early you needed the environmental science...

Kabitzin, thanks for sharing the solution!!! =P

Just kidding.

lol thanks Kabitzin, I was able to get to total MAX only once and I didn't record it down, now I have been stuck trying to reproduce it ever since. Yes, you need environmental science immediately after courtship->marriage->children->bigger house hehe.

lol this game keeps surprising me, I was trying out different combinations, and this time I put in the recycle plant too early, it upgraded and blocked off the lake. So that when the guy was wooing the girl, he couldn't make a flower bouquet and he failed, the girl completely ignored him and he refused to do any work after that HAHAHAHAH.

Ahh, so getting the wrong path can lead to some extra animations. Coolness.

Woot! Found the optimal solution :)

Zrpu. Rat -> Pvivy Rat. -> Nepu -> Raiveb Rat. -> Genaf Rat. -> Ryrp. Rat -> Pbzc. Rat -> Purz.

I LOLed when the kid almost pushed the dad off the cliff :P
