This is going to be HUGE!!

So, I know I have been terrible about keeping up with this blog. SOmehow at the beginning of the month, I kinda lost interest in updating. I guess it was partially running out of ideas and partially cause we are about to signing off on our milestone and I was super busy for a couple of weeks. But now I am back!! (althoug I think I am having a cold)

Now I am sure you have all heard of our new full body motion sensing camera Xbox Kinect. It is about to come out later this year. They did a whole bunch of launch title demos for it at E3 this month. Alot of the games are basically XBox versions of the WII sports, fitness and other stuff. However, there is ONE game, that is going to totally blow everybody away! It is going to make us millions and completely change the way games are played! Yes, I am talking about Harmonix's Dance Central. Think DDR but with full body detection!

I was already interested when I saw it at E3. Then yesterday at our weekly mixer, we got the demo in person and it was super fun. At the end of the meeting, we had basically 20 people all dancing at the same time, having a great time! This is going to be the awesomest game ever and totally need to be at the next Veggie Out!!

:) ps. I will try to start up 365 pics again.

Project 365 day 104

This is a Tesla, a full electric motor in a body of a Lotus Elise. This one belongs to Ninja's Manager. I've also seen a red one around the garage but couldn't find it today. I have decided this is my dream car! I just have to fork out 120k for one of these babies..

Project 365 day 103

This is Ninja's attempt to make that Pepper/Shrimp dish you can get at Dimsum. It didn't turn out quite as expected since the shrimp meat kinda came apart after steaming. But still tasty lol.

Project 365 day 102

Yes, I know I am extremely wayy behind -_-. It is just a temporary setback. I will catch up again!

My college friend came to visit Snoopy and me this past weekend. We took them to Elliot's Oyster House by the water. They had delicious delicious oysters!

Project 365 day 101

This is my team playing Whirlyball for our morale event. This is the first time I played this bumper car + lacrosse + basketball hybrid. It is really quite fun!

Project 365 day 100

To commemorate this momentous occasion. I am posting a pic of this double yolk egg I cracked the other day. what luck!

project 365 day 99

I got lazy again and am behind on posting pics. This is my post 99. We got Alan Wake today, I can't wait to play this. Suppose to be a super scary game. Well by playing, I mean Ninja will play and I will watch under the blanket.

Man, I have to think of something good for post 100!

Project 365 day 98

I live in a kind of a open room with 4 cubicles. Since we kind of face the entrance to the stairs we are always in a constant battle to redirect traffic so people don't use our cube as a shortcut hallway. We had the whiteboards up for a while, and today we moved this giant ikea cabinet to the otherside. Lets see if it will help. As you can see behind the cabinet, the cube room next to us had doors installed. bastards!

Project 365 day 97

My officemate downloaded and made this pop up paper cat and put it up under her wall cabinet. It is so cute!

Project 365 day 96

We stopped by the UW street fair this weekend. It was a really gorgeous day for some walking outside. For lunch we decided to eat at Thai Tom, one of the best Thai restaurant in town. Much better than the fair foods. This place is a hole in a wall in the U district. Above is the picture of lone chef cooking at his station. The food was delicious!

Project 365 day 95

It was my friend Cloud5Six's birthday. We went to Wild Ginger in Bellevue. It is kind of a fancier version of PF Changs. Here is a shot of some sake everyone drank. One is a Ginmai, the other is pear flavored.

Project 365 day 94

We had a party on our field for the launch of the Kin phone. They invited these punk/circus group? to perform. The band played this funky jazz music while people on stilts performed acrobatics. It was quite entertaining!

Project 365 day 93

This is my friend Diana's shoe. They are Manolo Blanc. Very fancy and apparently costs at least $400. It is sad that Ninja knows more about shoes than I do.

Project 365 day 92

Mount Ranier as seen from the I-90 bridge.

Project 365 day 91

A beautiful day at Seattle Center fountain. WE walked by after watching Iron Man 2 at the IMAX, now that was a pretty fun movie. I really loved all the computer projection that he can manipulate. That is soooo awesome.

Project 365 day 90

The first beautiful day in ages~ This is sunset over Lake Sammamish. I underexposed it a little here. The actual scene was much brighter.

Project 365 day 88

M bought these flowers today. I thought the contrast between the flower and the vase color is really beautiful.

Project 365 day 87

A fine perk of this summer that is in name only. God I hate the weather, typically the day will go from cloudy to rain to hail and then back to sunshine in a couple of hours and it is hella cold all the time.

Project 365 day 86

A school of puffy fish outside of the Pacific Science Center. We drove there after work to get Imax tickets for Iron Man 2 this sunday. yay!!

Project 365 day 85

This was more of an exercise in playing with camera settings. The table light at Sushi Maru where we ate dinner before seeing Kick Ass. I had to dial down the explosure level way low to get this shot.

Project 365 day 84

As an appropriate conclusion to the last bunch of food posts. We decided to have vegetarian night to compensate for all the crazy eating out. Eating out really doesn't give you enough veggies, especially American food. Here we have stirfried pea vine, stirfried bok choy and spicy cabbage which I made for the first time. It turned out alright, but I put in too much hot chili pepper and not enough vinegar. Better luck next time.

Project 365 day 83

continuing the food theme. Went to I Love Sushi (not the one by the lake) for lunch the other day. They have a lunch special bento for 12.95 and it is amazing. In this box you see, there is seared albacore sashimi, a maguro tuna/salmon sashimi salad, tempura with 3 shrimp in it, a piece of teriyaki salmon, a piece of tamago, some spinach, and 2 giant unagi roll, plus Miso soup, salad and a bowl of rice. -_-.

Project 365 day 82

M made this dish. Pig blood and mung bean noodles stirfried with some scallions. It was very very tasty! Uwajimaya has some good pig blood too.

Project 36 day 81

I mowed the lawn today (omg, time for that again!?). Our plant in the backyard is blooming these gorgeous flowers!

Porject 365 day 80

We went to Kobe Sushi and Katsu for dinner again. I find it amusing that they let you grind your own sesame seed for their Katsu sauce. I had alot of fun playing with this lol.

Project 365 day 79

Went with some good friends to Seastar in Bellevue for Restaurant Week. It used to be the fanciest restaurant in Bellevue, but with the invasion of El Gaucho and the stuff at the Bravern, it is no longer haha. This is grilled trout. Was quite good.

project 365 day 78

Strawberry, Blueberry and Banana smoothie :D

Project 365 day 77

>( I am such a slacker haha

I got this keychain for Ninja from DC due to Tochi's good suggestion. He likes it alot haha.

Project 365 day 76

Another sake. This one is a Ginmai, it is extremely good. Ninja says he asked the wine dude for a sake that was as smooth as the Kikusui (extremely smooth and light) but with more bold flavor. The wine dude recommended this. it is pretty tasty for sure, mostly cause i can't taste the alcohol very much haha.

Project 365 day 75

Some more additions to the sake theme. This one is also a Nigori(cloudy and sweet). I think I picked it because the bottle looks cute. The sake is just ok. It is indeed very sweet but also kinda burns going down, not very smooth. Also the rice flavor is very strong.

Project 365 day 74

Crazy stuff they sell at the company store -_-

Project 365 day 73

The George Washington Masonic Memorial. Built by the Freemasons. This place was really off the beaten path. We drove by this place while on the way out of old town Alexandria and decided to check it out. It was actually very interesting, full of artifacts and information about the masons.

Project 365 day 72

A feet picture :)

Project 365 day 71

The DC metro station. I really liked the roof.

Project 365 day 70

First day in DC, Kung has filled his fridge with lots of goodies for us! He is gonna have a heck of time getting rid of it hahaha.

Project 365 day 69

Group of statue in the Seattle Airport. Kind of remind me of mushrooms.

Project 365 day 68

Today was the official end of service for the original Xbox live. Also, tax day! Our building held a huge party to honor both events. Look at the top right corner for the gigantic cake. It was half chocolate, half normal with black frosting that turned everyone's lips and tongues black. -_-

Project 365 day 67

Our test manager has been bringing these tea bottles to our weekly meetings. They are actually quite delicious, I highly recommend it. It is some fancy black tea picked by 7 virgins from like the godly tea leaves of Java or something.

project 365 day 66

My work is full of frustrations like this. This happens for absolutely no reason! Maybe I secretly created the first 3D phone -_-

project 365 day 65

ok so I am terribly behind again. But today, there will be a feast of updates haha

I saw this interesting fruit at the supermarket the other day. NOt sure what it is, but it sure looks gnarly.

Project 365 day 64

Washington's Skagit Valley is famous for having the largest tulip farms in the country. They supply tulips even internationally, (to Holland?). Every year around this time, the tulips will be blooming for about 2 weeks before the farmers cut them down to sell them. So people come from all over to see the giant fields of tulips. We made a trip this Saturday as it was very nice weather. I thought this pic was appropriate haha.

Project 365 day 61

After using my crappy "came with the house" showerhead for like 5 years I finally upgraded to this awesome one. I saw it at Bed, Bath and Beyond, and it is called "Rainfall" and only has 1 setting: pouring rain. This is just what i wanted, a straight downpour of hot water, not a single droplet going to waste. It was very awesome!
