inspirations

In keeping with Kungfucius' theme, here is something I saw about Mr. Woo who builds robot in china. Wait til the end to see the most amazing one, It almost looks too good to be true. My cynical mind wonders if there is a guy in there pretending hahaha.

This is a segment from British show by Paul Merton, called Paul Merton in China

ETA:, after posting this video, I started looking at other segment of his show and I saw this..!!!

OMG, what restaurant they went to?? I have NEVER seen this eww....
Paul Merton in China - Chinese Meal

OMG, what a total waste of space!! that girl is right about Chinese rich people LOL
Paul Merton in China- weird French hotel

Nice video on Mr. Woo :) It's cool to see what a little curiosity and ingenuity can do.

But I wonder if Paul Merton's opinion on China had gone down after going into that hotel and eating at that restaurant...

prolly, although I am sure they purposely picked the most exotic and bizarre places to show the viewers.

WTF. Why would a Chinese hotel know the name of a former Canadian Prime Minister? Fake Fake.

On the other hand, I wonder what kind of power supply that robot at the end is using. I would hate for it to carry you halfway to the nearest city and just die.

They googled his name remember? Although I don't know why they don't check out his picture and be like. hmm that doesn' look like the Canadian guy.

Well, that's because all Canadian guys look the same!

I bet it's the British accent. Such an unmistakable Canadian trademark, eh?

I think moonfleck has a point here. The show is supposed to be entertaining so if they just had say peking duck every night. While it probably would have suited Mr. Paul "Martin" better, it would have been very boring to watch for the viewers. Just like how they have to make Crab Fishing "Dangerous" otherwise, it wouldn't be able to lure in suckers to watch it.

It actually would not be difficult to guess the name of a past Canadian PM:

Many of these guys have extremely generic names. Also, they all look the same (egg head, split in the middle with hinge jaw when they talk). I saw it on TV so it must be true.

Perhaps the large robot runs on a gasoline powered engine? I would think that running on solely battery power would severely limit its range.
