Scott, Emily, Ida and Me in the office, Scott turns to Ida in frustration:
Scott: Wouldn't it be great if we could talk in C++?
Ida: As long as we don't talk in lisp.
Scott: See, if this was C++, if I didn't want to hear you talking, I could delete the object beneath you. And I gave you a weak reference in the first place anyway, so then you'd just crash.
Me: You mean you'd delete Ida's chair?
Everyone: ....
[10 minutes later]
Ida: I think it's just rude.
Scott: What's rude?
Ida: Deleting my chair is rude!
